Compound priorities

Mission priorities

Compound progress stalls when you extract the wrong mats — not when you lose fights. The resource checklist on this page (interactive toggles when enabled) tracks what your base and your next mission need before deploy. Pair it with Schematics, Compound Setup, and Districts and Locations so every sortie feeds a known crafting queue instead of random stash bloat.

How to use this checklist

  1. Pick one compound priority (defense, production, storage, or bench tier).
  2. Pick one mission priority (ammo, medical, schematic mats, or bulk scrap).
  3. Mark items you already stockpile; deploy only for unchecked rows.
  4. After extract, rebalance storage and update the list.

Early Access may rename resources or disable benches — verify icons in-client and cross-check Early Access Status.

When chasing a blueprint, list inputs explicitly:

Replace placeholder rows with live recipe text from your client — we avoid inventing item IDs on the wiki.

Weekly compound rhythm

Day focusCompoundMissions
Mon–WedStorage + production benchLoot runs for bulk mats
Thu–FriWalls and trapsCombat clears for mods
WeekendAlliance tasksRaids / group schematics

Adjust for your play schedule; the rhythm matters more than calendar labels.

When checklist says skip missions

If every mission row is stocked but compound rows are empty, stay home and build. How to Play describes downtime crafting. If compound is secure but schematic inputs lag, run targeted Mission Types instead of generic farming.

Checklists feel tedious until the night a raid hits and your walls hold because you actually built them. Run this page before every session during Early Access — restoration patches will keep moving targets.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for survivors in the Dead Zone.

Should I hoard every resource?

No. Hoard mats for active schematics and the next compound upgrade. Salvage or trade excess grey loot.

What if mission and compound priorities conflict?

Fix compound defense first, then mission consumables, then luxury crafts. Unraidable bases beat shiny guns.

Does the interactive checklist save progress?

Browser toggles reset on refresh unless you copy state locally. Treat it as a session aid.

Where do rare mats drop?

Higher-tier industrial, medical, and security-flavored districts. See Districts and Locations.

How do alliances help resource farming?

Shared tasks, trade, and coordinated district boosts can split mat families across members.
